Who this is for
Organizations usually call us about this when:
You use AI or a vendor model in underwriting, pricing, or marketing decisions.
An examination is coming and your AI models haven’t been independently tested.
A vendor updated its credit model and you need to confirm it’s still fair.
Overview
When AI influences who gets credit and on what terms, it’s a fair lending model, whether you built it or a vendor did. We test the model’s outcomes across protected classes, review the reasons it produces for denials, search for less discriminatory alternatives, and document the results in the form examiners expect. Testing covers underwriting, pricing, marketing, and servicing models.
